Building Roads and Relationships in Southern Indiana
At Libs Paving, we believe great paving goes beyond asphalt. It’s about building lasting connections with the communities we serve. This past Saturday, our team proudly participated in the Indiana University Southeast (IUS) Festival for Touch-A-Truck 2025, a family-friendly event that celebrates learning, safety, and community spirit.
As an Indiana-based paving company serving both Indiana and Kentucky, we take pride in contributing to the communities where we live and work. The IUS Festival provided the perfect opportunity for us to connect with families, answer questions, and show kids how our paving equipment helps create smooth, safe, and long lasting roads.
A Fun and Educational Day for Families
Our booth quickly became one of the highlights of Touch a Truck! Children were excited to climb into one of our tri-axle dump trucks, honk the horn, and get an up-close look at the equipment we use on our projects. Parents and visitors also had the chance to learn more about how asphalt is made and the care that goes into every job we complete.
To make the day even more festive, we handed out Libs Paving hard hats, candy, and mini pumpkins, a perfect blend of fun, learning, and Halloween excitement. Seeing the kids’ smiles and hearing their laughter was a great reminder of why we love being involved in local events like these.

Community engagement has always been at the heart of Libs Paving. While our crews are known for delivering top-quality commercial paving, concrete, sealcoating, and striping services, we’re equally committed to supporting local schools, events, and charitable organizations throughout Southern Indiana and beyond.
Participating in Touch-A-Truck gave our team a chance to showcase the people behind our work, the skilled professionals who dedicate themselves to safety, quality, and service every day. For us, paving isn’t just about roads and parking lots, it’s about teamwork, pride, and building strong connections in our community.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Indiana University Southeast faculty and staff for hosting this great event. Our community is extremely fortunate to have access to a beautiful regional campus offering over 55 degree programs. A huge thank you also to everyone who stopped by to see us at the IUS Festival. It was a joy meeting so many families, sharing what we do, and seeing the kids enjoy their time with our team. We are already looking forward to next year’s festival and can’t wait to continue paving the way on the roads and in our community. We will see you next year!
