JOB SUMMARY
This project involved a comprehensive overhaul of the client’s truck yard, focusing on reestablishing the base and surface layers to enhance safety and reliability. Given the narrow timeframe for completion, resources were strategically allocated to mill the entire yard in just one day, with paving operations finalized within two days. Notably, this project set a record for both ASCO (Asphalt Supply Company) and Libs Paving for the most tonnage produced and installed in a single day. Projects like this are a regular part of our operations, as we complete several warehouse projects throughout the year.
CHALLENGES:
Logistics and scheduling created unique obstacles to this project. With a narrow timeframe allocated by the client to alleviate disruptions to their operations, Libs Paving had to strategically plan out labor and trucking resources to ensure mission success. With a collaborative effort by the entire Libs team, the job was completed successfully and ahead of schedule.
