JOB SUMMARY
The New Albany project, Floyd County, focused on the reconstruction and paving of the roadway from Stover Drive to Grant Line Road. The work aimed to enhance both the structure and surface quality of a heavily traveled city corridor, improving drivability and extending the lifespan of the pavement.
CHALLENGES:
Maintaining smooth traffic flow and safe access along Daisy Lane street during construction posed a major challenge, particularly due to the road’s connection to key intersections and residential access points. The project was also on a tight schedule, with work taking place from April 1 to April 30, 2025. Coordination with the city and nearby residents was critical to minimizing disruptions, while staying on track with the timeline and quality standards set by the City of New Albany.
